Thanks for the props, Warm Fuzzy. By the by, here's a solution to your comments issue: go to blogger, click on the "template" tab. You'll see a big text box there. Click in the text box, then hit ctrl-f and find this item:
$BlogItemCommentCount$
to the immediate right of that word you should see the word "comments", followed by the letter a in brackets with a slash. Change that word to "comment(s)", save template changes, and then republish (those are all links on the template page to click. Now instead of always reading "comments", you'll have "comment(s)"
