indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull

Not worth the price of a movie ticket. So disappointing... on so many levels.

Thoughts after leaving the theater:
  • it is overly sentimental and cheesy
  • animals are used comically - not in a good way, but in a Failure to Launch - eye-roll inducing way
  • the premise is ridiculous
  • it is predictable

Yes, but there are redeeming features - action sequences with trucks and jumping and convoys and disposable soldiers. What's not to love?

And it's not like the Holy Grail was exactly . . . believable . . . I mean, that's as imaginary as people from the space between the spaces, isn't it?

Also, anyone that goes crazy and seems only able to communicate in quotations from poems is ok with me!

yeah, but it wasn't THAT bad! it was worth a $4 ticket (in my opinion). but no movie is worth a regular priced ticket (ie. $8+)

Casino Royal was worth the 8 dollars.

I thought Indiana Jones was disappointing. Face it: you guys are wrong. :)

I am watching Raiders of the Lost Ark right now, and seeing how fantastic Indiana Jones can be only adds to my disappointment of the new movie!

I totally agree. Netflix just sent it to me, and I regret ever putting it in the queue. Predictable and filled with cheap laughs that aren't really that funny. We don't see eye to eye on tv shows, but maybe we're movie compatible!?
