pointy side up
I really need to trim Lucy's nails. I've tried serval times but she won't let me. "won't let you!?" you say, "she's a cat - your cat. Just trim her nails already." Easy for you to say... but take it from me, much blood has been shed already. Now, her otter pose that I normally find so adorable just reminds me of a Get Fuzzy cartoon where Satchel doesn't want to approach Bucky because he's "pointy side up."

I can totally relate to your nail-trimming woes. I really need to trim Lily's nails but she squirms to holy high hell when I try to do it. It's for your own good, bunny!!!! Why does she fight me so?
cute overload today is all kittens, btw. This one's particularly cute.
I refused to cut Mster's nails for the first year of her life. I will probably do the same for Sven.
I've heard that you can wrap a cat in a towel. I imagine you need to do that firmly, so it can't squirm out.
